Beer is our passion, our heritage and our future.
For more than 350 years we’ve been brewing, innovating and delighting the world’s drinkers. This is what gets us out of bed in the morning:
A Love of Beer
We create extraordinary, premium beer at breweries from the Rocky Mountains of Colorado in the US to the storied Burton-on-Trent brewery in the UK and the oldest brewery in Montreal, Canada. From our founding families and executive leaders, to our master brewers and our sales teams, we are a brewing company that loves what we do. And we never take it for granted.
A Passion for Building Extraordinary Brands
Our portfolio has more than 65 beer brands including Coors Light, Molson Canadian, Miller Lite and Carling, as well as craft and specialty beers like Blue Moon, Creemore Springs and Cobra. Ours is a long and successful history of building local and international brands inspired by the insights we gain from talking to our drinkers.
A Dedication to Innovation
As a brewing company in love with beer, we’re always looking for ways to challenge the expected and bring something new and exciting to our drinkers. In 1959 we developed the first recyclable aluminum beer can. Today, new, cold-activated bottles and cans bring Coors Light’s Rocky Mountain cold refreshment to life around the world. Carling’s Home Draft allows drinkers to bring the great draft taste of the UK’s # 1 lager from the pub into their home. Recently we launched Molson M in Canada, the world’s only microcarbonated lager. We never stop learning from the people who drink our beer and that is what drives our innovation.
A Business Built on Responsible Practices
We care about the communities and the places where we brew and market our beers, just like you do. We believe integrity, respect and accountability have to be a part of everything we do, everywhere we do it or it’s not worth doing. That’s how we do business and it won’t change.

The TransX Group of Companies is a leading provider of premier integrated transportation services across North America. A 50 Best Managed Companies in Canada winner for 2007, requalified in 2008 and 2009, and a winner again in 2010, our team is committed to operational excellence in providing innovative solutions to our customers.
TransX is a Manitoba success story. Founded on determination in the early 1960s by Louie Tolaini, the company has steadily grown to become the largest private carrier in Canada by virtue of an entrepreneurial spirit and a dedication to developing people.
Company founder Louie Tolaini’s entrepreneurial journey began in 1959 when he purchased his first truck to service Western Manitoba’s oilfields. Soon he had saved enough money to start a business, so in 1963 Tolaini bought a trucking business to haul general freight and livestock between Virden and Winnipeg…and TransX was born.A philosophy of hiring talented and capable people and building an environment in which they can get on with the job of making our customers happy has proved a powerful driver of success.
The 1980s and 1990s saw unprecedented growth as the foundation was laid for the current group of companies. Tolaini grew the business by adding general freight services and through acquisition. TransX also expanded into the United States and new divisions and services were created. In the past decade, TransX has invested over $225 million in assets, technology, and infrastructure. The commitment to providing service quality to customers above industry standards means people, assets and technology come first.
Today, TransX is Canada’s largest privately-owned transportation company, generating annual sales revenues of more than $450 million, making it one of the top 60 carriers in North America by revenue. Headquartered in Winnipeg, the TransX Group of Companies has 2,500 employees including owner operators, more than 1,500 trucks, 4,000 trailers and containers, and a network of freight terminals across North America. Truly North American in scope, TransX has volumes representing 65,000 shipments per month in Canada, United States and Mexico.
The TransX Group of Companies has five different divisions with which to deliver services including truckload and less than truckload shipments via road and intermodal or expedited transportation for dry, temperature controlled or flat deck shipments making TransX one of the only transportation providers to offer such an extensive range of services handling any size or type of commodity. The transportation service is further complimented with Customs Brokerage and Logistics divisions.
A philosophy of hiring talented and capable people and building an environment in which they can get on with the job of making our customers happy has proved a powerful driver of success.
Not everyone makes the TransX team. Those who do are part of a high performing team committed to the success of our customers, our team, and ourselves.
Says Tolaini: “You must have a dream and determination…while passion is the difference between a culture of mediocrity and a culture of excellence.”
